Just like any other year, we made the pilgrimage to Atlanta, GA for DragonCon, an “everything and anything” convention we visit annually. We have each been going there for almost 20 years!
This year was a bit light on the cosplay, which gave it a more focused feel:
- Goldberry and Tom Bombadil
- Time Warp Party People (from Rocky Horror Picture Show)
- Stage Hands from Baby Billy’s Bible Bonkers (from The Righteous Gemstones)
@laura and our friend Nicole together made a great Ursula and Vanessa pair from The Little Mermaid. They also dressed up as pirates for sea shanties while I was in my Star Trek uniform for a game of Artemis (spaceship bridge simulator).
There’s lots more to say and show about this event, so I expect this post to get some updates. Suffice to say, there is more that happened than could possibly fit in a single post.
